Broken Arrow Athletic Department

Volleyball Program

The Broken Arrow Public Schools volleyball program is for girls in grade 7 through 12. Athletes must tryout to participate in this program. All volleyball tryouts are held in the spring for the following school year. Information (dates and times) about tryouts will be posted below in the "News" section. The volleyball program has two eighth grade teams. These teams practice after school the first week of August through the first week of October.

The volleyball program also consist of a ninth grade team, junior varsity (JV) team, and a varsity team. Athletes who make these teams will enroll in a sixth hour athletic class. The competitive season is July through October.

Physicals (physical form) are mandatory. In order to tryout or participate in any athletic activity for any school year, the athlete must turn a current physical into the coach at the time of tryouts. Only physicals dated after May 1 of the current school year will be accepted for tryouts and will be valid through the end of the following school year.
