The Broken Arrow Public Schools (BASP) golf program (Class 6A) is for boys and girls that are in grades 7 - 12 grade. To participate in the BAPS golf program, athletes must tryout. Tryouts normally occur in May and/or August and this information will be posted under the "Tryout/Camps Information". The competitive season for the golf program runs March through May.
The BAPS golf teams consist of a varsity, junior varsity, and varsity teams for both boys and girls programs, totaling six teams.
The junior high golf teams consist of 7 - 8 graders. These teams will practice after school the first week of school through the fall break in October. Practice starts up again the first week of March and runs through April.
The junior varsity and varsity teams consist of 9 - 12 graders. These players will be enrolled in a sixth hour golf class.
Physicals (physical form) are mandatory. In order to tryout or participate in any athletic activity for any school year, the athlete must turn a current physical into the coach at the time of tryouts. Only physicals dated after May 1 of the current school year will be accepted for tryouts and will be valid through the end of the following school year.
